Your profile

  • Specialized in FANUC robots
  • Other robot types as KUKA, COMAU and ABB are appreciated but not a must
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry, especially in the assembly of sheet metal parts
  • Know how in MIG welding.
  • Experience in robot setup, configuration and cycle time optimization
  • Other automated processes as spot welding, gluing, roller hemming, riveting, screwing, visual systems as Isra Vision etc., are appreciated but not a must
  • Language: Advanced level in English, other languages are appreciated but not a must
  • Able to travel internationally
  • Self-organized, able to work on his own
  • Team player

Tool and die maker (m/f/d)

We are looking for a tool mechanic for a permanent position.

We offer

Your tasks

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Independently build, launch and try-out of complex, medium to large dies including Class “A” (Body sides, Hoods, Fender and doors) dies for structure parts made from aluminum and high strength steel.
  • Implementing engineering changes in production tools.
  • Ability to read Q-characteristics (spotting picture, burrs, thinning, uneven surfaces, wrinkling, etc.) and implement countermeasures.
  • Conduct test runs with completed tools to ensure the parts meet the specification and adjust as necessary.

Your profile

  • Expert with profession as tool maker
  • Experience of 3-10 years  in sheet metal tooling technology in building new tools or tool & die maintenance.
  • Min. o 5 years’ experience in try out of
    complex tool sets in the press shop
  • Knowledge of welding tool steel and cast is preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts.
  • Willingness to travel abroad to work in various countries.
  • Ability and licence to operate a crane
  • Car driving licence
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Second or third language is preferred.
  • Basic PC knowledge (MS office, outlook and excel)
